Kevin has just completed the score for BALLET SHOES, broadcast on Boxing Day on BBC1. Adapted from Noel Streatfeild's classic 1936 novel by LILIES creator Heidi Thomas, it features a host of star names - Emilia Fox, Emma Watson, Victoria Wood, Richard Griffiths and Dame Eileen Atkins. The story tells of the three young Fossil sisters, adopted from far corners of the globe by capricious palaeontologist Uncle Gum, and their struggle to make their way in the world of theatre. Kevin's vibrant, colourful and tuneful score was recorded and mixed at Hear No Evil with a fifteen-piece ensemble. The DVD of the film is widely available now.
